NRG Gas Turbine Relocation

Frank Lill & Son, Inc. was awarded a contract for the teardown, relocation and rebuild of a 20MW power plant in the spring of 2000. This work was performed on an emergency basis as the state of Vermont was facing an imminent energy shortage at the time. Adhering with the ultra-critical timeline on this project, Frank Lill & Son, Inc. was able to relocate this facility from Somerset, MA to Burlington, VT and start up the unit in exactly 1 month from our first meeting with the project owners.
