Newark Liberty International Airport

This project consisted of the systematic demolition and removal of (4) existing high temperature hot water generators. As each one was demolished, a new Indeck Energy high temperature hot water generator replaced it. This project also included new blowers, stack erection, boiler control panels, ancillary support equipment, and all piping for the renovated facility. The project was phased over a 2½ year construction period, as it was performed in an operating facility. Also, performed concurrently, were the civil modifications to accommodate the new boilers, as well as structural platforms and electrical systems.
