McGuire Air Force Base

Frank Lill & Son, Inc. was awarded the general contract for a total Power Plant upgrade and refurbishment at the McGuire Air Force Base in New Jersey. Our Scope of work included a total rebuild of three high temperature hot water generators and their auxiliary systems, including all new controls and Low N0x burners. In addition to this, Frank Lill also performed major or total rebuilds on the facilities breeching, stacks, fans, refractory, boiler casing, and completed a total retube on the units. New electrical switchgear and new power plant hot water circulator lines were also installed. Extensive demolition of coal firing equipment (ie. Precipitators) was also required.
